Travel Food Services Limited's Board approved its first set of quarterly results post its July 14, 2025 listing. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations grew modestly to Rs 3,130.02 million (from Rs 2,985.51 million in Q1 FY25), while profit after tax rose about 18% to Rs 810.96 million. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations actually declined roughly 8.5% to Rs 3,750.54 million (from Rs 4,098.64 million), but consolidated profit after tax jumped about 59% to Rs 949.63 million, helped by lower other expenses and lower finance costs. Statutory auditors B S R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified limited review conclusion on both sets of results. The company also granted 284,522 stock options under its Employee Stock Plan 2024 during the quarter.
This is the first quarterly print after the recent Rs 2,000 crore IPO (all offer for sale). Margin expansion is the key positive takeaway - profitability improved sharply despite softer consolidated topline. Investors should watch whether the revenue decline was a one-off quarter and whether margin gains can be sustained going forward.
