TBZ reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of ₹6,240.07 million, up 4.66% YoY, with gross profit rising 17.4% and gross margin expanding 176 bps to 16.2%. EBITDA grew 20.7% to ₹514.08 million with margin up 110 bps to 8.2%, while PAT increased 13.4% to ₹209.44 million (EPS ₹3.14 vs ₹2.77). The company opened two flagship stores in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, taking its footprint to 37 stores across 27 cities. The Board also approved amending the MOA to allow accepting deposits from members and the public, subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, Mr. Shrikant Zaveri (CMD) and the Zaveri family directors were re-appointed for 5-year terms, and statutory auditor Chaturvedi & Shah LLP was re-appointed for a second term of 5 years.
Margin expansion and double-digit profit growth signal improving operational efficiency, though the MOA amendment to accept public deposits introduces a new fundraising avenue that warrants shareholder attention at the upcoming AGM on 9th September 2025.
