Amit Bhupendra Halvawala, along with 12 persons acting in concert (PACs), acquired a total of 5,93,400 convertible equity warrants of Trident Lifeline Limited on June 9, 2025 under a preferential offer. Individually, Amit Bhupendra Halvawala picked up 1,39,800 warrants, while other PACs including the Hardik Desai Family Trust (1,89,000), Maniya H Desai (99,000), and others received the balance. Before the acquisition, the promoter and PAC group held 72,49,400 shares (63.04% voting rights). After the warrant allotment, the total holding rises to 78,42,800 shares/warrants — voting rights remain at 63.04%, but on a fully diluted basis (assuming warrant conversion) the group's stake increases to 67.79%. The diluted share capital rises from 1,14,99,200 to 1,24,93,400 equity shares. Equity share capital remains unchanged at Rs. 11,49,92,000.
This is a positive signal of promoter confidence, as the promoter group is increasing its economic interest in the company through a preferential warrant allotment. However, it also means potential dilution for existing public shareholders if and when these warrants are converted into equity shares.
