On the reaction day the stock moved 2.3 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.1 pts more than its Other Textile Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Trident Texofab posted Q1 FY27 revenue of about Rs 26.14 crore versus Rs 28.08 crore a year ago, down around 7 percent. Profit after tax fell to Rs 52.18 lakh from roughly Rs 1.02 crore, nearly halving year on year. EPS stood at Rs 0.35. Separately, statutory auditor Shah Kailash and Associates resigned mid-term citing heavy workload and limited bandwidth. The board will appoint a replacement in due course.
Revenue and profit decline may weigh on the stock. Mid-term auditor exit adds uncertainty until a new auditor is appointed.
