Trident reported Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 17,851.7 million, up 4.4% YoY. Net profit rose 10.7% YoY to Rs 924.1 million. H1 FY26 revenue grew 1.2% to Rs 34,854 million while net profit surged 47.6% to Rs 2,317.7 million, helped by sharply lower finance costs (Rs 558.4 million vs Rs 925.3 million). Towel segment performed strongly; bedsheets declined. Auditor flagged an Income Tax search as Emphasis of Matter with no current financial impact. H1 EPS stood at Rs 0.46 vs Rs 0.31.
Strong H1 profit growth and lower finance costs lift earnings. Towel strength is positive. Income Tax search is a watch item with no numbers impact yet.
