On the reaction day the stock moved 2.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.5 pts more than its Sugar peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Triveni reported continuing-operations H1 FY27 net revenue of Rs 3,311 crore, up 5.3%, with EBITDA margin improving to 6.9% from 3.1%. PAT was Rs 97 crore versus a Rs 18 crore loss; Q2 PAT was Rs 94 crore. Net debt fell to Rs 157 crore from Rs 702 crore. The water business had a Rs 1,452 crore order book. Sugar prices and cane supply support the outlook, but ethanol pricing, maize costs, rain and water execution are risks.
The turnaround and lower debt are positive and may support the stock, though ethanol margin pressure, weather and slow water project execution remain risks.
