Tube Investments of India reported strong FY25 standalone results with revenue from operations rising modestly to Rs. 7,892.5 Cr from Rs. 7,610.5 Cr, while profit after tax surged to Rs. 1,296.7 Cr from Rs. 734.5 Cr — a jump of roughly 76% year-on-year. Q4 standalone PBT came in at Rs. 880 Cr, aided by a one-time Rs. 569 Cr fair value gain on preference shares in subsidiary TI Clean Mobility. The company absorbed Rs. 19.1 Cr in exceptional impairment charges against its investments in Moshine Electronics and Aerostrovilos Energy. Operating cash flow remained healthy at Rs. 835 Cr. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share, taking total FY25 dividend to Rs. 3.50 per share. The company also approved long-term borrowing of up to Rs. 300 Cr, appointed Ms. Shelina Pranav Parikh as an Independent Director, and named a new Secretarial Auditor for FY26–FY30.
Strong profit growth and a higher total dividend are positive for shareholders, though a meaningful portion of the PAT jump comes from a non-cash fair value gain rather than core operations. The Rs. 300 Cr borrowing and new director appointment signal business expansion plans and fresh board oversight going into FY26.
