TVS Holdings reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 12,742 Cr for Q1 FY26, up about 23% from Rs. 10,383 Cr in Q1 FY25, driven by strong growth in both automotive (Rs. 10,554 Cr) and financial services (Rs. 2,240 Cr) segments. Consolidated net profit rose around 40% YoY to Rs. 675 Cr from Rs. 481 Cr, with EPS at Rs. 165.85 (vs Rs. 107.20). Net profit margin expanded to 5.30% from 4.59%, and net debt-to-equity improved sharply to 5.62x from 7.70x. On a standalone basis, revenue fell sharply to Rs. 55 Cr from Rs. 136 Cr (due to the winding up of the trading business), while standalone PAT was nearly flat at Rs. 12.90 Cr. The Board approved raising Rs. 250 Cr through private placement of NCDs and noted an investment of Rs. 121.57 Cr in Home Credit India Finance.
Strong consolidated earnings growth, margin expansion, and improving leverage are positive for shareholders. The fund raise via NCDs and continued investment in financial services signal growth focus, though standalone performance remains modest given the holding-company structure.
