Typhoon Financial Services reported unaudited Q2 FY26 results with revenue from operations of Rs 1.04 lakh (vs Rs 0.89 lakh in Q2 FY25) and profit after tax of Rs 2.20 lakh (vs Rs 2.26 lakh YoY). For the half year ended September 2025, total income rose about 44% to Rs 20.74 lakh and profit after tax jumped to Rs 4.12 lakh from Rs 1.71 lakh in H1 FY25, taking EPS to Rs 0.14 vs Rs 0.06. The board approved the results along with the limited review report from auditor Virendra Surana & Co., which issued a clean (unqualified) review with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. Total assets grew to Rs 8.20 crore (from Rs 7.68 crore), supported by new borrowings of Rs 45 lakh, while loans on the book increased to Rs 5.77 crore. Operating cash flow, however, was negative at Rs -44.76 lakh because the company disbursed more loans than it collected.
Strong top-line and profit growth on paper is positive for shareholders, but the negative operating cash flow and rising loan book funded by new borrowings suggest cash is being locked into lending rather than collected back, which investors should monitor closely.
