U. H. Zaveri Ltd reported strong revenue growth but weak profitability for Q2 FY26. Revenue from operations jumped to ₹1,078.27 lakhs, up about 60% from ₹671.32 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For the half year (H1 FY26), revenue rose to ₹1,638.13 lakhs from ₹1,222.50 lakhs, a ~34% increase. However, profit after tax fell sharply to ₹3.58 lakhs for H1 FY26 vs ₹18.62 lakhs in H1 FY25, as cost of traded goods surged disproportionately. The auditor (Shah Karia & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report. Operating cash flow remained healthy at ₹331.24 lakhs, supported by inventory reduction and lower receivables, while long-term borrowings were brought down to ₹849.35 lakhs from ₹1,244.81 lakhs.
Strong top-line growth is a positive, but the steep drop in profitability and thin margins suggest rising input costs are not being passed through, which may concern investors in the near term. Deleveraging and healthy operating cash flow are supportive factors for the stock.
