UCAL posted Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 164.88 crores, up 6.8% from a year ago. Standalone net profit fell 54% YoY to Rs 2.52 crores. On a consolidated basis, the company swung to a loss of Rs 4.47 crores versus a small profit last year. Losses were driven mainly by US subsidiary UCAL Holdings, which posted a net loss of about Rs 12.11 crores. Half year consolidated loss widened to Rs 10.48 crores. Standalone operating margin shrank to about 3.1% from 4.8% a year ago as costs rose faster than sales.
Weak quarter: standalone profits nearly halved despite revenue growth, and consolidated losses deepened sharply on US subsidiary drag, likely weighing on stock sentiment.
