Ultracab (India) Ltd reported Q3 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 6,240.56 lakhs, up about 9% year-on-year from Rs 5,724.03 lakhs in Q3 FY25. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 103.72 lakhs in Q3 FY26, compared to Rs 269.99 lakhs in Q3 FY25, a drop of roughly 62%. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue grew about 8% to Rs 18,020.09 lakhs but PAT declined to Rs 425.96 lakhs from Rs 733.36 lakhs in the same period last year, a fall of around 42%. Total expenses in Q3 rose to Rs 6,102.39 lakhs from Rs 5,342.78 lakhs a year ago, indicating cost pressure even as revenue grew modestly. The statutory auditor issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or concerns.
Despite top-line growth, sharply lower profitability compared to last year signals margin compression and rising costs, which is negative for shareholders. The stock may see pressure unless the company can demonstrate a turnaround in margins in the coming quarters.
