On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty 100 and 0.2 pts more than its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2FY27 consolidated sales were ₹23,024 crore, up about 19% year on year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were ₹3,832 crore, while net profit was ₹1,501 crore. Volume rose 13% to 38.2 million tonnes and capacity reached 210.1 million tonnes. UltraTech targets 242.9 million tonnes by FY28. Ultravolt cables launched on 3 September with about ₹1,100 crore committed. First-half FY27 green power was 46.4%.
Stronger sales and profit plus capacity growth support shareholders, but the cable venture and clean-energy plans add capital and execution needs.
