Alps Industries reported a standalone net loss of Rs. 1,632.12 lakh in Q4 FY25 and Rs. 6,399.04 lakh for the full year FY25 (vs Rs. 5,623.85 lakh loss in FY24). Consolidated full-year loss was Rs. 6,388.52 lakh. Revenue from operations was NIL for FY25 (down from Rs. 190.93 lakh in FY24). The Board of Directors' meeting was deferred because audit reports were not received in time, so results remain unaudited. The company is currently under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) after NCLT Allahabad admitted Edelweiss ARC's petition on 13 September 2024; the Board is suspended and a Resolution Professional (Hemant Sharma) is managing the company. Total debt outstanding is Rs. 891.70 crore, with the entire Rs. 668.19 crore bank/financial institution debt in default. Accumulated losses have wiped out equity (other equity at -Rs. 93,275 lakh standalone). The financials are prepared on a going-concern basis relying on a revised restructuring/settlement with lenders.
For shareholders, this is an extremely distressed situation — effectively zero revenue, deepening losses, negative net worth, and the company's future depends entirely on NCLT approving a resolution plan. Existing equity holders face substantial risk of dilution or near-total loss under the IBC process, while additional liabilities of over Rs. 1,995 crore could crystallise if restructuring fails.
