Shivamshree Businesses Ltd reported revenue from operations of Rs 422.12 lakhs for Q2 FY26, sharply higher than Rs 24.02 lakhs in Q2 FY25, driven mainly by a new Manufacturing of Industrial Bags segment. Half-year revenue rose to Rs 691.06 lakhs versus Rs 112.14 lakhs a year ago, reflecting the addition of this new business line. However, the company continued to post losses, with a Q2 loss after tax of Rs 3.43 lakhs and a wider H1 loss of Rs 50.32 lakhs (vs Rs 18.13 lakhs loss a year ago). Operating cash flow was deeply negative at Rs (452.26) lakhs for the half-year, mainly due to a Rs 766 lakh build-up in current assets. During the period, the company raised Rs 4.5 crore via issuance of 3 crore equity shares at a premium, and the auditor flagged an Emphasis of Matter noting that closing stock was certified by management only.
Top-line growth from the new industrial bags manufacturing segment is encouraging, but persistent losses, deeply negative operating cash flow, and thin margins suggest the company is still scaling up and burning cash. Shareholders should watch whether the new segment converts revenue into sustainable profits going forward.
