Unifinz Capital India, an NBFC operating under the 'Lendingplate' brand, reported a sharp jump in earnings for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Total revenue from operations for 9M FY26 stood at Rs 35,964.40 lakhs versus Rs 12,122.89 lakhs in 9M FY25, an increase of nearly 197%. Profit after tax for 9M FY26 surged to Rs 6,792.61 lakhs from Rs 1,208.03 lakhs a year earlier, a growth of over 460%. Q3 FY26 PAT came in at Rs 2,706.47 lakhs (basic EPS Rs 6.11). The Board had earlier approved a 4:1 bonus issue, and 35,414,468 bonus shares were allotted on December 22, 2025, with EPS restated for all prior periods. Auditor R Gopal & Associates issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
The very strong top-line and bottom-line growth suggests the lending business has scaled materially, but shareholders should watch asset quality (impairment on financial assets of Rs 7,009.89 lakhs in 9M FY26) and whether this growth is sustainable. The 4:1 bonus issue increases the share count fourfold, so future per-share metrics will be on a much larger base.
