Uniphos Enterprises posted Q2 FY26 net profit of Rs. 2,316 lakhs, up sharply from Rs. 386 lakhs in Q2 FY25. The jump is mainly from other income rising to Rs. 2,442.57 lakhs versus Rs. 466.88 lakhs. Revenue from operations stayed flat at Rs. 585.80 lakhs YoY. H1 FY26 profit was Rs. 2,242.39 lakhs versus Rs. 371.29 lakhs. H1 EPS rose to Rs. 3.22 from Rs. 0.53. A 25 percent dividend (Rs. 0.50 per share) was approved at the AGM in September.
Profit jump is driven by investment income, not core trading revenue which is flat. Quality of earnings is a concern for investors.
