Unipro Technologies has belatedly submitted its unaudited results for Q2 FY23 and H1 FY23 (ended 30 September 2022) after a long delay caused by its prior delisting. The company reported a net loss of Rs 2.65 lakhs for the quarter and Rs 5.34 lakhs for the half year, with essentially negligible revenue from operations. For the full year ended March 2022, the company had posted a net loss of Rs 20.03 lakhs, and reserves and surplus are deeply negative at Rs (397.13) lakhs against equity capital of Rs 608.49 lakhs. Cash and cash equivalents have fallen to just Rs 0.14 lakhs (from Rs 4.24 lakhs at the start of the year), and operating cash flow was negative at Rs (4.10) lakhs for the period. The SAT has ordered reinstatement of the company's listing following an appeal, and it is now catching up on overdue compliance filings.
The numbers point to a micro-cap company under severe financial stress — negative net worth, near-zero cash, and persistent losses — raising significant going-concern doubts for shareholders. However, the SAT-ordered reinstatement of listing could restore trading status, which is a necessary but not sufficient condition for any recovery in shareholder value.
