Uniroyal Industries Limited filed its 32nd Annual Report for FY 2024-25. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose 24.58% to Rs. 2019.92 lakhs from Rs. 1621.32 lakhs in the previous year. However, standalone net profit fell sharply from Rs. 78.42 lakhs to Rs. 11.17 lakhs, mainly because the previous year's other income included a one-time Rs. 146.42 lakhs gain from sale of investment properties. On a consolidated basis (including 100% subsidiary A M Textiles & Knitwears), revenue grew 15.80% to Rs. 11383.85 lakhs, while consolidated net profit declined from Rs. 86.17 lakhs to Rs. 46.44 lakhs. The Board has not recommended any dividend to conserve resources, and the 32nd AGM is scheduled for September 30, 2025. The statutory auditors (Gambhir Khurana & Associates) have given an unqualified report with no qualifications or adverse remarks.
The strong top-line growth is a positive signal, but the steep drop in standalone net profit (around 86% decline) reflects that the prior year's earnings were inflated by a one-off property sale. Shareholders will see no dividend this year, though the company is profitable and expects to perform better in FY 2025-26.
