Uniroyal Marine Exports Ltd reported audited standalone results for Q4 and full year FY25. Revenue from operations jumped ~47.5% YoY to Rs. 2,845.22 lakhs (FY24: Rs. 1,928.52 lakhs), with Q4 revenue at Rs. 621.71 lakhs. The company swung from a loss of Rs. 275.22 lakhs in FY24 to a slim profit of Rs. 6.74 lakhs in FY25; Q4 profit was Rs. 106.97 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 147.96 lakhs a year ago. Basic EPS came in at Rs. 0.01 vs. a loss of Rs. 0.43 earlier. The statutory auditor, BSJ & Associates, issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no emphasis of matter. Operating cash flow was positive at roughly Rs. 168 lakhs. However, the balance sheet remains weak — accumulated losses stand at Rs. 604 lakhs and total borrowings of Rs. 1,476 lakhs sit against shareholders' funds of just Rs. 43.90 lakhs, giving an extremely high debt-to-equity ratio.
Return to profitability and strong revenue growth are encouraging, but the wafer-thin margin, negative reserves and very high leverage make the recovery fragile. Retail investors should watch closely for sustained margin improvement and debt reduction before drawing comfort.
