Univastu India Limited has decided not to go ahead with its proposed preferential issue of up to 35,00,000 fully convertible warrants to its promoter and promoter group. The warrants were to be issued at INR 82 each (INR 10 face value + INR 72 premium), raising up to INR 28.7 crore. Shareholders had already approved the proposal at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 20th January 2026. However, citing inordinate delay in receiving in-principle approval from NSE, the company is withdrawing the application entirely. No warrants were allotted under this proposal.
The proposed capital infusion of up to INR 28.7 crore from promoters will not happen at this stage, which removes the near-term equity dilution and signals of promoter commitment. Shareholders may view the withdrawal negatively as it delays promoter-led capital support, though no money has been deployed or lost.
