Universal Autofoundry announced audited results for FY25 (ended March 31, 2025) at its board meeting on May 15, 2025. Revenue from operations fell to Rs. 193.35 crore from Rs. 202.51 crore in FY24, a decline of about 4.5%. Profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs. 2.35 crore from Rs. 4.89 crore, down roughly 52%, with basic EPS falling to Rs. 1.89 from Rs. 4.07. Total income stood at Rs. 193.89 crore and the company reported positive operating cash flow of Rs. 4.99 crore. Statutory auditor Goverdhan Agarwal & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. Separately, 12.20 lakh convertible warrants lapsed on April 12, 2025 due to non-exercise, and the company forfeited Rs. 6.17 crore of upfront warrant money. The Company Secretary resigned effective June 2, 2025, and new secretarial, internal, and cost auditors were appointed.
Shareholders should note a significant drop in full-year profit and a mild revenue decline, though the auditor's report is clean. The Rs. 6.17 crore warrant forfeiture is a one-time gain, while the warrant lapse reduces potential future equity dilution.
