Universal Autofoundry Limited announced audited results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2025. Full-year revenue from operations rose modestly to about Rs. 202.5 crore from Rs. 193.4 crore in FY24, a growth of roughly 4.7%. Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs. 4.89 crore from Rs. 2.35 crore, and basic EPS improved sharply to Rs. 4.07 from Rs. 1.89. Q4 FY25 swung back to a profit of Rs. 2.41 crore compared with a loss of Rs. 2.06 crore in Q4 FY24. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. The Board also noted the lapsing of 12.20 lakh convertible warrants, with an upfront amount of about Rs. 6.17 crore forfeited by the company, and approved several auditor appointments and accepted the resignation of the Company Secretary effective 2 June 2025.
Strong earnings growth and a clean audit report are positive for shareholders, though revenue growth was modest and warrant conversion failures suggest weaker promoter/holder confidence. Overall, the result is supportive of the stock's near-term sentiment.
