UPL Q3 FY26 revenue grew 12.5% YoY to Rs 12,269 crore. PBT rose to Rs 671 crore from Rs 354 crore, but PAT fell to Rs 490 crore from Rs 853 crore due to higher tax and one-time charges including Rs 59 crore for new labour codes. For 9M FY26, revenue rose to Rs 33,504 crore; PAT swung to Rs 926 crore from a Rs 259 crore loss last year. Subsidiary Advanta filed DRHP on Jan 19 for an offer-for-sale IPO, with UPL set to sell up to 2.81 crore shares.
The PAT dip stems from tax base effect and one-time charges, not weak operations. The 9M turnaround and the planned Advanta IPO support improving fundamentals.
