UR Sugar Industries' Board approved its audited standalone results for Q4 and FY25 on May 26, 2025. For Q4 FY25, revenue rose to Rs 36.67 lakhs (up about 52% YoY from Rs 24.16 lakhs) and net profit more than doubled to Rs 22.10 lakhs versus Rs 9.12 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. However, full-year FY25 revenue dropped sharply to Rs 80.94 lakhs from Rs 162.09 lakhs in FY24 (a ~50% decline), with full-year net profit falling roughly 25% to Rs 41.88 lakhs. The statutory auditor (Vijay Panchappa & Co) issued an unmodified/clean opinion on the results, which the company separately confirmed under SEBI's Reg 33(3)(d). The company continues to be debt-free with about Rs 1,515 lakhs parked in cash and bank balances, but operating cash flow turned negative at Rs (103.86) lakhs for the year versus positive Rs 1,272.76 lakhs in FY24.
Mixed signals: a strong Q4 rebound and a clean audit with zero debt are positives, but the steep full-year revenue fall and the swing to negative operating cash flow flag weakness in core operations. For a small-cap, thinly-traded stock, results may not trigger a major move unless management gives further clarity on business strategy.
