Urban Company reported Q2 FY27 revenue of Rs 537.29 crore, up 41 percent YoY, but net loss widened to Rs 182.48 crore from Rs 59.33 crore last year. H1 FY27 revenue was Rs 1,065.63 crore with a loss of Rs 274.60 crore. The board approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 2,500 crore through equity or convertible securities via QIP, preferential allotment or private placement, subject to shareholder approval by postal ballot. It also gave in-principle approval to explore residential air conditioners as a new Native segment line. Limited review by B S R and Co LLP is unmodified.
Revenue is growing fast but losses are deepening, and the Rs 2,500 crore raise points to funding needs that could mean dilution risk for shareholders.
