FY26 was a challenging year. Bank swung from a Rs 24 Cr profit in FY25 to a Rs 1,151 Cr loss, mainly due to microfinance sector stress and RBI regulatory changes. Total revenue stood at Rs 3,810 Cr, loan book at Rs 19,332 Cr (down from Rs 19,666 Cr), and deposits were largely flat at Rs 21,654 Cr. Pre-provisioning profit crashed from Rs 1,007 Cr to just Rs 56 Cr. Capital adequacy fell to 17.71 percent. Bank raised Rs 950 Cr equity. GNPA improved to 7.7 percent by March 2026 from earlier highs.
Significant annual loss raises concerns, but management highlights stabilising trends, equity raise of Rs 950 Cr, and improving collections as positives for recovery.
