V-Guard Industries reported audited standalone revenue of Rs 5,692 crore for FY2026, up 7.2% from Rs 5,309 crore in FY2025. Consolidated revenue stood at Rs 5,966 crore. However, standalone profit after tax declined marginally to Rs 259 crore from Rs 260 crore, while consolidated PAT fell to Rs 308 crore from Rs 314 crore due to an exceptional charge of Rs 20.91 crore (standalone) and Rs 22.11 crore (consolidated) arising from the implementation of new labour codes. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.50 per share (150%). Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The company also appointed Ms. Usha Sunny as an Additional Independent Director and allotted 87,239 equity shares under ESOS 2013 to employees.
Despite revenue growth, profit declined due to one-time labour code implementation costs. The clean audit opinion and dividend recommendation are positives. The slight PAT decline may cause modest negative sentiment, but underlying operational performance remains steady.
