The Board of V R Films & Studios Ltd approved standalone unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended 31st December 2025, along with a clean limited review report from B L Dasharda & Associates. The company returned to profitability in Q3 FY26 with a profit after tax of ₹21.56 lakhs, compared to a loss of ₹56.02 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Q3 revenue from operations grew modestly to ₹359.28 lakhs (up from ₹348.64 lakhs YoY), while total expenses fell sharply to ₹323.69 lakhs from ₹410.95 lakhs, driving the turnaround. For the nine-month period, revenue declined about 11% to ₹874.89 lakhs, but the company posted a profit of ₹86.96 lakhs against a loss of ₹99.80 lakhs last year. The company also incorporated a 60% subsidiary, Krishmicbon AI Tech Pvt Ltd, in September 2025 and confirmed no deviation in IPO proceeds usage.
The swing back to profit is a positive signal for shareholders after a loss-making FY25 (loss of ₹374.44 lakhs), though the underlying 9-month revenue decline and the company's small scale and single-segment exposure (film distribution and dubbing) suggest continued volatility. Stock may see a relief bounce, but investors should watch whether the profit recovery sustains.
