On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.7 pts less than its Speciality Retail peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

V2 Retail has closed its Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) on November 3, 2025, allotting 18,74,414 equity shares to qualified institutional buyers at ₹2,134 per share. This includes a premium of ₹2,124 over the face value of ₹10. The issue price was set at a discount of ₹111.75 (4.98%) to the floor price of ₹2,245.75 per share. The total fund raise works out to approximately ₹400 crore. The QIP opened on October 30, 2025, and the placement document has been finalized.
Existing shareholders will see dilution of around 4-5% from the new shares. The modest discount of under 5% to the floor price suggests reasonably healthy institutional demand, though pricing just below the floor indicates the issue did not attract a significant premium. The ₹400 crore inflow should strengthen the balance sheet for V2 Retail's store expansion plans.
