VA Tech Wabag reported FY25 consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 32,940 million, up 15% year-on-year, with profit after tax of Rs. 2,953 million, up about 20% YoY. Standalone revenue grew 15% to Rs. 28,738 million with PAT of Rs. 2,713 million, up 15% YoY. Consolidated operating cash flow was strong at Rs. 3,552 million, and the company remained net cash positive for the fifth straight year with a net cash position of Rs. 5,890 million. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 4 per share (200% on face value of Rs. 2), and the order book stood at a robust Rs. 137 billion. The auditors (Sharp & Tannan) issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong double-digit revenue and profit growth, a healthy order book providing multi-year revenue visibility, and continued net cash position are positive for shareholders. The proposed 200% dividend is a shareholder-friendly gesture, though the dividend yield is modest given the Rs. 2 face value.
