Valiant Laboratories' board approved a Rights Issue to raise up to Rs. 8,146.88 lakhs by issuing fully-paid equity shares of Rs. 10 face value to existing eligible shareholders. The rights entitlement ratio, issue price, record date, and other terms are yet to be decided by a newly formed Rights Issue Committee. Separately, the board appointed Mr. Akshay Gangurde as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer (Key Managerial Personnel), effective July 9, 2025, filling a key governance role. Mr. Gangurde is an ICSI member with over three years of experience in corporate secretarial practice, having previously worked with S H Kelkar, Saregama India, and a practicing CS firm.
Shareholders will get the opportunity to subscribe to additional shares in proportion to their existing holdings, though the dilution ratio and pricing are not yet announced. The stock may see short-term pressure until the issue price and entitlement ratio are disclosed.
