Valson Industries reported Q1 FY27 total income of Rs 28.90 crore versus Rs 28.47 crore a year ago, a marginal rise. Net profit fell to Rs 6.92 lakh from Rs 9.15 lakh year-on-year and dropped sharply from Rs 24.22 lakh in Q4 FY26. Profit before tax was razor-thin at Rs 1.27 lakh versus Rs 9.02 lakh last year. EBITDA margin compressed to around 3.1 percent from 3.5 percent, signalling cost pressure in the yarn business.
Weak Q1 print with shrinking margins and sharply lower sequential profit; near-term sentiment for the stock may turn cautious.
