Vama Industries Ltd reported a strong turnaround for FY25 with standalone revenue from operations jumping to ₹6,423.95 lakhs from ₹521.12 lakhs in FY24, an over 12-fold increase. The company swung from a net loss of ₹312.27 lakhs in FY24 to a net profit of ₹198.03 lakhs in FY25, with EPS improving from ₹(0.59) to ₹0.38. Consolidated numbers were similar, with revenue of ₹6,428.52 lakhs and net profit of ₹180.38 lakhs. Profit before exceptional items and tax stood at ₹153.03 lakhs versus a loss of ₹452.38 lakhs last year, partly helped by the absence of prior-year exceptional items of ₹159.12 lakhs. The board re-appointed Ms. Archana Pabba as CFO and the statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Shareholders will see a clear return to profitability with revenue scaling sharply, supporting a positive short-term sentiment. However, the small absolute profit size, low margins, and reliance on working capital changes mean investors should watch whether the revenue growth sustains into subsequent quarters.
