Vardhman Special Steels reported Q2 FY27 revenue of Rs 600.05 crore, up 38.81% year on year, as sales volume rose to 70,440 tonnes. EBITDA increased 48.48% to Rs 83.86 crore and PAT rose 51.88% to Rs 52.49 crore; EPS was Rs 5.43. H1 PAT grew 72.02% to Rs 93.68 crore. Management targets a 500,000 to 600,000 tonne greenfield plant by FY30, forging commissioning in Q3 FY28, and about 1 million tonnes of capacity by FY35.
Strong profit growth and higher EBITDA per tonne should support sentiment. Expansion offers long-term upside but adds execution and funding risk.
