Vardhman Special Steels reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs. 486 crore, up about 12 percent from Rs. 434 crore in Q1 FY26. Profit after tax surged to Rs. 41.2 crore from Rs. 19.9 crore, a jump of around 107 percent. EPS rose to Rs. 4.26 from Rs. 2.43. Total expenses rose modestly to Rs. 440 crore. Other income includes a government grant of Rs. 3.8 crore under the Punjab industrial policy. Statutory auditors BSR and Co issued an unmodified limited review report.
Strong Q1 with profits doubling on better margins despite modest revenue growth, supported by government incentives. Positive for shareholders.
