Vardhman Textiles reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 2,342.32 crores, up about 3% from Rs. 2,270.31 crores in Q1 FY25, but down from Rs. 2,458.18 crores in Q4 FY25. Standalone profit after tax fell to Rs. 201.62 crores (vs Rs. 226.90 cr YoY and Rs. 228.97 cr QoQ), with EPS of Rs. 6.97 versus Rs. 7.85 a year ago. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs. 2,385.66 crores while consolidated PAT slipped to Rs. 207.68 crores from Rs. 239.77 crores YoY. The Acrylic Fibre segment posted a small loss of Rs. 0.86 crores. Capital work-in-progress jumped sharply to Rs. 739.43 crores (from Rs. 370.19 crores), indicating ongoing capacity expansion. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued a clean, unqualified limited review report on both sets of results.
Margins came under pressure with operating profit margins contracting year-on-year despite modest top-line growth, which could weigh on near-term sentiment. However, the strong capital expenditure pipeline and clean audit may support the longer-term growth story for shareholders.
