Varmora Granito (tiles maker, listed in Sept 2026) posted Q2 FY27 standalone revenue of 3,870.64 Mn, up about 17% YoY from 3,308.41 Mn. Standalone PAT rose 37% to 232.86 Mn; H1 PAT more than tripled to 380.04 Mn from 112.65 Mn. An exceptional loss of 178.67 Mn was booked on selling loss-making subsidiary Simola Tiles LLP. The company switched depreciation method to straight-line, which lowers future charges. Auditor Walker Chandiok gave a clean review. IPO proceeds of about 2,930 Mn for debt repayment remain unutilized.
Strong profit growth offset by 178.67 Mn one-time loss on subsidiary sale; 17% revenue growth trails faster-growing tile peers.
