VCU Data Management reported its Q2 and H1 FY26 standalone results, with revenue from operations falling sharply to Rs. 36.44 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from Rs. 72.13 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a drop of nearly 50%. For the half year, revenue declined to Rs. 133.35 lakhs from about Rs. 185 lakhs in H1 FY25. Total comprehensive income for H1 FY26 stood at Rs. 20.33 lakhs, translating to a basic EPS of Rs. 0.13 (not annualised) for the half year and Rs. 0.06 for the quarter. The statutory auditor, H. G. Sarvaiya & Co., issued an unmodified review opinion on the results. Paid-up equity capital remains Rs. 1,550 lakhs (15.5 lakh shares of Rs. 10 each), with sizeable share premium and other equity reserves.
A steep YoY revenue decline with only marginal profit signals weak top-line momentum, which is a negative signal for shareholders. However, the company continues to remain profitable and carries an unqualified auditor opinion, so there is no immediate governance concern.
