On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Vedanta Power (formerly Talwandi Sabo Power) filed its first audited results as a newly listed entity (shares listed June 15, 2026). Revenue rose ~4.4% to Rs 5,453 Cr, but the company posted a net loss of Rs 1,714 Cr, driven by a one-time deferred tax adjustment of Rs 1,713 Cr and a Rs 1,319 Cr trade receivable write-off. Cash losses were Rs 517 Cr. Total expenses rose to Rs 5,464 Cr from Rs 5,234 Cr. Auditor S.R. Batliboi gave a clean (unqualified) opinion.
Near-term stock pressure likely as large reported loss and receivable write-off overshadow modest revenue growth; one-time tax hit distorts underlying picture.
