Vedanta reported unaudited Q2 FY27 revenue of ₹25,812 crore, up 57% year on year, operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of ₹9,938 crore, up 106%, and profit after tax of ₹6,202 crore, up 151%. The margin, excluding copper, reached 60%. Net debt fell ₹4,624 crore to ₹3,675 crore, cash reached ₹26,622 crore, and a ₹5 interim dividend was declared.
Strong earnings, a 60% margin, lower net debt and a ₹5 dividend are positive for shareholders. Metal price swings and Copper disruption remain risks.
