GLAS Agency, acting for lenders, disclosed creation of encumbrance over 2.14 billion Vedanta shares (54.72 percent of equity) held by promoter Vedanta Resources through subsidiaries. This secures a US$ 2.25 billion facility dated 20 July 2026 arranged by Barclays, Citigroup, JP Morgan and others.
