Vedanta posted Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs 39,868 crore, up 5.9% year on year. Group PAT fell to Rs 3,479 crore from Rs 5,603 crore after a Rs 2,067 crore exceptional loss, including a Rs 1,407 crore receivable write-off and Rs 660 crore settlement. Segment EBITDA rose to Rs 11,612 crore, lifting margin to 29.3% from 27.7%. H1 operating cash flow was Rs 16,226 crore. The unmodified review gave emphasis on the Cambay contract and short-seller allegations.
The exceptional loss cut reported PAT, while Cambay and short-seller risks may weigh on sentiment despite revenue and EBITDA growth.
