Velan Hotels posted a Rs 129.19 lakh net loss for the September 2026 quarter and a Rs 200.64 lakh loss for six months, against losses of Rs 56.40 lakh and Rs 100.61 lakh a year earlier. Operations remain suspended since 24 March 2020. The auditor flagged doubt about the company's ability to continue. A Rs 435.13 lakh one-off charge increased the quarterly loss, while operating cash outflow was Rs 2,101.48 lakh.
Negative equity of Rs 2,332.40 lakh, the loss and the auditor's business continuity warning raise solvency risk; share value remains highly uncertain.
