Venky's (India) swung to a Q2 FY26 net loss of about Rs 25.5 crores versus a profit of Rs 7.8 crores a year ago. Half year was a loss of Rs 10.7 crores against Rs 82.9 crores profit in H1 FY25. Total revenue grew modestly to about Rs 1,667 crores in H1 FY26 from Rs 1,582 crores. The Poultry segment struggled due to lower realisations from chicks and birds. Animal Health and Oilseed segments did well. Auditors gave an unqualified opinion.
Negative: shift to losses despite revenue growth signals margin pressure in core poultry business; near-term outlook cautious.
