Ventive Hospitality reported Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue of INR 5,428 million, up 7% YoY from INR 5,075 million. Profit before tax fell to INR 613 million from INR 803 million YoY, hurt by the temporary closure of Aloft Whitefield hotel for renovation. PAT jumped to INR 1,242 million (vs INR 379 million) boosted by a one-time deferred tax credit of INR 1,022 million from shifting to the new 25.17% tax regime. EPS stood at INR 3.46. Recent acquisitions of Sun Leisure hotel and the Narmada joint venture expanded the portfolio.
Higher PAT reflects a one-time tax credit, not core operations. Core profits declined; hotel renovation timeline and new acquisitions are key things to watch.
