Vertex Securities' board approved its Q3 FY26 (quarter ended December 31, 2025) unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results on February 10, 2026. Standalone total income for the quarter was ₹186.86 lakhs, marginally up from ₹183.85 lakhs in Q3 FY25, but 9-month income fell to ₹575.90 lakhs from ₹713.33 lakhs a year ago (a decline of about 19%). The company reported a standalone net loss of ₹43.77 lakhs for the quarter (vs ₹47.77 lakhs loss in Q3 FY25), while the 9-month loss widened sharply to ₹96.26 lakhs from ₹29.10 lakhs last year. On a consolidated basis, 9-month loss was ₹92.13 lakhs versus ₹16.20 lakhs last year, with total income at ₹604.26 lakhs. Statutory auditor Deoki Bijay & Co issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications, though it noted the subsidiary's results were not independently reviewed.
Sharply widening nine-month losses and a near 19% drop in 9-month revenue point to continued stress in the broking business, which is likely to weigh negatively on investor sentiment. The lack of any auditor qualifications provides some comfort, but shareholders should note that losses have more than tripled year-on-year on a 9-month basis.
