Vesuvius India reported Q1 FY26 standalone total income of ₹50,900 lakhs, up ~3.5% YoY from ₹49,198 lakhs in Q1 FY25. However, net profit fell ~5.8% to ₹5,585 lakhs versus ₹5,931 lakhs a year ago. On a sequential basis, revenue dropped ~9% from ₹55,077 lakhs in Q4 FY25 and PAT declined ~18% from ₹8,023 lakhs. Finance costs remained minimal at ₹30 lakhs. The Statutory Auditors (Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP) issued an unmodified Limited Review Report. The Board did not declare any interim dividend. The company operates in a single segment—manufacturing and sale of refractories.
Revenue showed marginal YoY growth but PAT declined, indicating margin compression. Sequential performance also weakened significantly from the previous quarter. No dividend declaration may disappoint income-focused investors, though the clean audit opinion is reassuring.
