Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited reported audited standalone financial results for FY2026. Revenue from operations grew 15.4% to ₹1,149.35 Crore from ₹996.38 Crore in FY2025. However, profitability declined significantly with profit before tax falling 26.6% to ₹12.38 Crore and profit after tax dropping 25.3% to ₹8.79 Crore. The company wrote off ₹1.32 Crore (₹132 Lakhs) as an exceptional item - a capital advance to Punjab National Bank towards a proposed property acquisition that was deemed unrecoverable. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, and there were no going concern issues flagged.
Revenue growth of 15% is positive but the 25% decline in net profit is concerning for shareholders. The exceptional item write-off and margin compression may weigh on the stock price in the near term.
