Vikas WSP Ltd has informed the stock exchange about the next hearing in its ongoing money laundering case (OC No. 1228/2019) before the Adjudicating Authority under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. On 31st October 2025, arguments were heard in the matter, and the next hearing has now been scheduled for 7th November 2025. This is an update to earlier communications on the same proceedings and does not indicate a final ruling. The company has been under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 since 2nd February 2022, with Mr. Darshan Singh Anand acting as the Resolution Professional appointed by the NCLT Chandigarh Bench.
The money laundering proceedings remain pending and continue to add to the company's existing legal overhang. For shareholders, this reinforces the risky profile of the stock — Vikas WSP is already under insolvency resolution and now faces an ongoing PMLA case, meaning any resolution outcome remains uncertain and could materially affect recovery for equity holders.
